Applicants for employment, Jillian Cox, Peter Corwin, DeVan Gray, Kari Holm, Kyle Mitchell, Liam Muzzuco, John Proudfoot, and Leila Vandiver (“Plaintiffs” or “Class Representatives”), filed a lawsuit against Puget Consumers Co-Op (“Defendant” or “Puget Consumers Co-Op”) on behalf of themselves and a class of similarly situated applicants for employment. The lawsuit, Cox et al. v. Puget Consumers Co-Op, No. 25-2-21529-6 SEA (the “Lawsuit”) is pending in King County Superior Court. Plaintiffs claimed in the lawsuit that Defendant’s job postings for open positions in Washington did not disclose the wage scale or salary range and/or general description of benefits being offered in violation of Washington law. Defendant disputes Plaintiffs’ claims and contends it has not violated any law and Plaintiffs’ claims are without merit.
The Court has not made any determinations regarding the merits of the Plaintiffs’ claims, and it has not decided whether Defendants violated the law.
